As Alberta and the Netherlands compare approaches to deployment, the focus turns to what it takes to move hydrogen through "the last mile" — and where collaboration can unlock near-term progress.
A strong value chain is what carries hydrogen through the last mile, and that is where many jurisdictions are now looking for solutions. Alberta and the Netherlands bring different but complementary strengths to this challenge, shaped by scale, infrastructure, policy, and on-the-ground pilots. The focus is on understanding where progress can be made in the near term, and how collaboration between regions can inform and motivate deployment.
